What is a Stanchioned trolley?
Stake trolleys are flat transport trolleys specially designed for the safe transport of long materials.
Our fetra stake trolleys are part of our multifunctional modular system and are based on fetra's tried-and-tested plug-and-screw principle. With this system, the stake trolleys can be flexibly adapted, extended and modified. You have the option of converting the trolley to 4 swivel castors, adding a protective rail or fitting an additional drawbar and coupling.

Our stake trolleys are available in different sizes and have a load capacity of 500-600 kg. In addition, we also offer heavy-duty stanchion trolleys that have a load capacity of 1200 kg and are equipped with non-slip screen printing plate. These trolleys have 4 boltable stanchions and have a useful length of 600 mm.
What are stanchions?
Stakes are metal bars that are fixed vertically in brackets on the trolley to secure the load during transport and prevent it from slipping or tipping over. Because of their plug-in system, they are also called plug-in stanchions. Depending on requirements, tarpaulins or ropes can be attached to the stanchions or the wagon frame to further secure the load.
