German transport equipment manufacturer fetra is starting the new year with a completely redesigned website. In addition to a modern design and user-friendly interface, the website scores with outstanding functionality: It is linked to the inventory management system of the Borgholzhausen-based company so that users can access all product data at any time. For fetra, the integration has the benefit of optimised resource planning as orders, customer data, etc. are recorded directly.

The primary goal of the new website was to make it more contemporary, both in terms of appearance and handling. This has certainly been achieved with www.fetra.de/en. The optimisation is particularly noticeable for dealers, who can register on the site and then continuously view all orders and their status in the login area. Another useful feature is the option of accessing delivery receipts from forwarding agents and parcel courier companies as well as an overview of the latest invoices. In addition, customers can order the fetra catalogues in bulk quantities via the website.

Another focus was on updating the content. A brand-new feature are the fetra theme worlds, which give an overview of the different product areas, for example new products, the GREY EDITION or barrel transport. Product films can now be viewed in the media library of the Service section, which also includes training dates, the product catalogue in a flip page format or for downloading, and the possibility of requesting a catalogue. In the news blog, you will find the latest information about products, the company and trade fairs. “In the short and medium term, further service functions will be added, for example a chat facility”, announces Marketing Manager Jan Völlering, who played a key role in developing the new website.
