LogiMAT 2023: fetra is on board!

Transport equipment manufacturer unveils fetra FIXSTOP

This year, the German transport equipment manufacturer fetra will once again exhibit innovative and proven intralogistics solutions at the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart, but at a new location. In hall 3 at booth 3A07, the Borgholzhausen-based company will be showing a wide range of products between 25 and 27 April – from multi-level storeroom trolleys and box carts to trolleys for tugger trains. The centrepiece of this year’s trade fair presentation will be the newly developed fetra FIXSTOP directional locking feature, giving users maximum flexibility.

After the two-year break on account of the pandemic, fetra had already participated in last year's LogiMAT, picking up on its successful pre-Corona trade fair appearances. As their mix of familiar and new solutions was once again well received by the international trade public, the transport equipment manufacturer intends to apply this proven concept again in 2023.

Manoeuvrable or straight on track

One of the novelties on show will be the new FIXSTOP feature developed by fetra: Instead of the standard two fixed castors on all trolleys, the directional lock offers the option of deciding between manoeuvrability or track stability on the spur of the moment, depending on the task at hand. This feature can be activated with just one kick from any long side for the trolley to either run on four swivel castors or on two swivel and two fixed castors instead. Trade visitors will be able to experience this live at the fetra exhibition stand, where the experts will demonstrate the function of the directional locking feature on a
smaller model of the galvanised multi-level storeroom trolleys, in this case equipped with drawbar, coupling, fetra FIXSTOP and handles for lateral shifting. When several trolleys travel in convoy, the fixed castor mode is used. After uncoupling the trolleys, users can switch to four swivel castors and move the trolley sideways.

Large variety of accessories

As another feature, fetra will be showing the galvanised multi-level storeroom trolley, which is equipped with a comprehensive range of accessories. Designed as a modular system, the trolley can be modified in many ways using the fetra Insert & Bolt Principle. This versatile concept allows you to add, for example, a document box made of galvanised sheet steel, a notebook holder and a bottle holder.
Visitors to the fair can also find out about the advantages of the mobile tilting stands, which are available in various heights and versions. These facilitate ergonomic working, for example in assembly operations, and are available in the standard colour blue or in an electrically conductive version. fetra will also be demonstrating the advantages of its rolling desks at its trade fair booth in Stuttgart. These have been used successfully in production facilities and workshops for many years.

fetra can be found at the LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany, in hall 3, booth 3A07.
