The central brake system TOTALSTOP is part of the standard equipment of the constructive revised fetra sheet metal dump trucks. It affects on both swivel castors and comply with the European standard EN 1757-3 (safety of platform trucks). Hereby fetra takes a pioneering role. With two special handles, fetra also sets standards in terms of ergonomics. The optionally available drainage tap can be retrofitted at any time and enables the convenient removal and disposal of liquids.
Bulk goods and industrial waste can be conveniently collected and disposed of with the fetra chip dumpers. The transport equipments are suitable for manual and ground-level emptying and are either pushed or moved with a forklift.
Proven system
The development of user-friendly solutions is one of fetra's top priorities.We underpin this claim by equipping our dump trucks since model year 2015 with the proven TOTALSTOP central brake system without any surcharge. The wheel rotation and swivel movement of both swivel castors are determined and released again with one step. Thanks to the central position, the brake pedal is always in the operator's field of vision and can be operated regardless of the castor position.
Retrofittable drainage tap
All dump truck models are equipped with an appliance for the drainage tap since factory. It can either be ordered directly with the transport device or ordered later at any time. The retrofittable drainage tap with strainer is easy to install and ensures a clean separation of solids and liquids. This is particularly advantageous in industrial manufacturing. The two handles are particularly user-friendly: in addition to the tubular push handle at an ergonomic height, the additional handle makes it easier to empty the tiltable container.
Versatile useable
The tilting trough consists of securely welded and also oil and water-tight steel sheets. The volume of the dump trucks ranges from 250 to 800 liters, with a maximum of 750 or 800 kilograms. Depending on the wheels, the dump trucks are equipped for various requirements: The fetra TPE-wheel (thermoplastic elastomer) copes with medium load capacities and convinces with its low starting, rolling and swivel resistance. If the dump trucks are used in areas with many edges and thresholds, it is advisable to use the blue-gray elastic solid rubber tyres.
