Optimised handling thanks to fetra push bar

New product innovation makes table top cart particularly ergonomic

For its MultiVario table top carts, the German transport equipment manufacturer fetra has developed a practical solution that optimises handling in one easy step: A bolt-on push bar that can be easily retrofitted using plastic clamps. It can be positioned individually, making it more convenient to use while maximising ergonomics.

The add-on kit made of powder-coated tubular steel is available in four sizes to match the various table top cart sizes, from 500 mm to 800 mm wide. It can be easily retrofitted with only a few basic tools by means of plastic clamps. The height can be adjusted allowing the user to individually select the perfect grip position according to his or her height. This relieves the musculoskeletal system and takes strain off the user’s back during work. Thanks to the push bar, the cart and its contents can be moved around comfortably.

Retrofit option

When used as mobile work tables or work benches, the fetra table top carts are versatile and have become valuable assets in numerous companies. Customers can pick from a large selection of different models: From versions with wooden shelves and carts with oil-tight trays to sheet steel shelves or boxes, the range is designed for a wide variety of environments, whether in automotive workshops, car dealerships, catering, administration or production plants. As every customer may have changing requirements, it is beneficial to be able to retrofit the push bar optionally or to remove it again if required. For example, the heavy table top carts (load capacity: up to 600 kg) come standard with horizontal handles that are welded to the unit. Here, the push bar can provide additional comfort, e.g. for particularly heavy loads, but can also be removed again if protruding goods need to be transported.

New features also for table top carts

For years, the table top carts have been one of the most popular product in the fetra portfolio, which the manufacturer is constantly developing further. In addition to the push bar, there are more new additions to the range such as the numerous other variants of the lightweight table top carts, which are now also available in the sizes 1,000 x 700 mm and 1,200 x 800 mm. Some of the models already have a high-level handle, so the push bar would be obsolete here.

In all models, the bolted structure of the MultiVario table top carts is made of welded tubular and sectional steel and is powder coated in brilliant blue. Alternatively, almost all models are available in GREY EDITION on request so that they can also be easily used in companies working with sensitive electronic components.
