In order to optimise trolley handling, fetra has enhanced its transport equipment products with new solid rubber wheels. The innovative wheels are also an asset in terms of design.
Just like the proven pneumatic tyre wheels, the new solid rubber version has a diameter of 260 millimetres, i.e. 10 millimetres larger than before. The displaced hub provides maximum track width and reliable tipping stability. To ensure constantly good running characteristics of the wheels, the roller bearing has been integrated into a moulded-in steel sleeve. The weight reduction of about 20 percent per wheel does not affect load capacity. On the contrary: compared to the old version, users now benefit from an increased load capacity.
Apart from technical functionality, the German transport equipment manufacturer from Borgholzhausen also cares about good looks: the individual fetra design makes the wheels unique and finishes off the trolleys’ neat appearance.
